As the Pages & Places Book Festival nears, we invite artists (local, regional, or national) to submit an original work to be used for the October 2nd, 2010 festival poster and event program.
Pages & Places draws its name from the combined mission of celebrating books, writing, and literacy as well as the revitalization of the city of Scranton. The festival’s “Pages” signifies our authors, journalists, and writers who populate our panels. The “Places” are our local, downtown venues that boast architectural beauty and interest and serve as the hosts of our panel discussions. While the “brand” of Pages & Places is its logo, we encourage artists of any medium to design our 2010 poster image. Artists are encouraged to learn more about the festival by visiting our website at www.pagesandplaces.org.
