We have several ways for you to help us before the festival and most importantly, during the big day itself. Below are some of the ways you can get involved with the festival.

Pre-Festival

  • Help us distribute our bookmarks and programs before the event
  • Get involved with our fundraising and promotional events

Festival Day (Saturday, October 1st)

Headquarters
  • Sell day-of festival tickets
  • Provide festival information and hospitality suggestions to visitors and attendees
  • Track venue inventories

Ticket Sales

  • Greet attendees and take tickets/sell tickets at the door for panels and workshops
  • Help facilitate the Q&A during panel sessions
  • Set up/tear down venue

Author Relations

  • Escort authors from their hotel to the festival and from their panel to book signing

Book Expo

  • Assist with book sales throughout the day
  • Kids Fest volunteer during activities and readings
  • Set up/tear down of Expo on the Square

Promotion

  • Be a “content manager,” assisting us with Facebook and Twitter updates before and during the festival
  • Freelance photography of festival panels, workshops and Expo events
  • Freelance videography of festival panels, workshops, and Expo events
